It’s called eyelash lift and tint, and you can get one at your beauty salon. The lash lift procedure is usually more affordable than eyelash extensions, and the results can last up to 8 weeks.

What is a Lash Lift?
Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that lifts and curls your eyelashes. Unlike the lash extensions, the lash lift procedure alters the shape and colour of your lashes to achieve classic lash extensions look alike. Your beauty salon can either offer a keratin lash lift that adds protein to the lashes or a perms lash lift (chemical solution with higher pH) that uses similar chemicals as traditional hair perms.
The keratin lash lift and tint treatment involve four steps to achieve longer, curled, darker eyelashes. The first procedure involves placing pads on your eyelid and applying a serum to break down the protein in the lashes to add shape. Next, a keratin-infused serum is used to restore and revitalize the lashes, followed by a tint to enhance the visibility of darker eyelashes. The final treatment concludes with a coat of pure keratin for an additional layer of conditioning protein.
The lash lift results can last up to 6-8 weeks. In general, the lash lift procedure is considered safe, with some experiencing temporary skin irritation or allergic reaction. However, when the perming chemicals are left on the eyelashes for too long, they can cause breakage and damage them. Always use professional services and check reviews before and after photos of the beauty salon.

Using oil-based conditioners after the lash lift or eyelash extensions is not recommended. Applying oil-based mascara or castor oil will shorten the lash lift results by straightening them. Instead, use water-based mascara and oil-free eyelash enhancing serum for thicker and fuller lashes. Following the aftercare routine and multiplying the lash lift effect with the lash serum will give you a natural ‘woke up like this’ appearance.
